Retail Banking
Banking is part of everyone’s daily life. So
from personal experience you know what we do. And perhaps you know
how we could do even better.
This is your chance to bring your ideas to the table and re-invent
Retail during a challenging graduation internship. This internship
gives you a sneak preview of the Retail Banking Leadership
Programme ING offers to talented Master graduates.
What will the future look like? Will mobile phone banking become
the next big thing? Will internet entirely replace traditional
banking offices? The Retail Banking Leadership Programme provides
you with a clean sheet. Together we are about to write a
challenging chapter of our future: the merger of Postbank and ING
Bank where easy banking meets expertise.
Assignment
The ING Marketing team ‘youth’ is made up of 5
professional marketeers. Together they are responsible for
developing the marketing strategy for the target group of children
between 0-18 years and their parents. This strategy becomes clear
in the different campaigns and promotions the team develops as
well.
As of 2010 ING is the main sponsor of the KNVB and the Dutch
National Soccer team. This year the ‘youth’ target group will play
a major part in this sponsorship. A number of features will be used
by the marketing team amongst others the World Championship and a
marketing proposition for soccer clubs in the country. The aim is
to increase the number of youth clients and further building on the
image of ING within the target group.
As an intern, you will assist the marketing team with developing
the plans around using the KNVB sponsorship in their marketing
approach. You will assist in working on developing propositions,
concepts of marketing campaigns and the implementation (from
premium to making the campaigns visible in the ING offices). You
will be a true member of the team!
Together with the departments of Communication, Internet and the
ING offices you can make the most out of your internship
experience.
